Throughout the years, Lewis has been referred to as “the great performer,” a title that reflects his performance style, his musical roots in gospel and classical music, and his love of jazz. He has recorded over 80 albums and has received five gold records and three Grammy Awards so far in his career. He has also been recognized by The National Endowment of the Arts as an American Legend.
