The group’s dynamic and nuanced performances have earned it a place as one of the world’s premier piano trios. The Ahn sisters breathe new life into the standard piano – trio literature, as well as push the boundaries of their craft, by commissioning works from visionary composers like Kenji Bunch, Maurice Jarre and Michael Nyman. The trio’s latest CD, Groovebox, is a showcase of this vibrant and original music. Possessing an enviable combination of talent and style, they have been natural subjects for the fashion pages of the likes of Vogue and GQ. In 2003, they were named three of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People.
