Visual Art Galleries
Raue Center features three visual arts galleries—the Wells Manufacturing Gallery, the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Memory of Florence Bohl & Her Family Gallery and the Gerhard and Patricia Weiler Family Foundation Gallery. The visual arts program’s mission is to enrich the lives of the people of the northern Illinois region by providing a center where they can benefit from the visual arts through artistic nourishment, education and creative expression.
Most exhibits rotate every six to eight weeks, with approximately eight exhibit periods in the year. Entries are juried by a visual arts committee. The committee judges the submissions based on creative ability, artistic merit and innovative nature of work, character and technical quality. At Raue Center, we always welcome new artists.
