1776 has been a McHenry County favorite for over twenty eight years. Since our beginning, we have embraced the farm to table philosophy, using locally sourced and organically grown food products when ever possible. The owner is no stranger to food allergies, being diagnosed with Celiac Disease among other food allergies. We cater to those who have special dietary restrictions. We are proud to redefine what fine dining looks like. Everyone deserves good food.

Locally owned and operated by Crystal Lake native, Rhienna McClain Trevino. Long time community partner, formerly working in the local not-for-profit world. Now able to share her passion for quality dining and entertaining with you. Formerly owned by Andy & Terrie Andresky (1990-2016) 1776 has expanded its libation offerings to include swanky cocktails, 50+ Whiskeys & Bourbons, 30+ Scotches and a variety of Craft Beers.

The only Wine Spectator National Award winner in McHenry County. Erik Nordstrom, Wine & Spirits Director built an incredible, comprehensive wine selection. Erik brings a level of unique industry knowledge and impeccable customer service.
