This intermediate acting course is designed for actors with foundational training who are eager to expand their skills and explore more nuanced performances. Focusing on scene work, students will develop a deeper understanding of text and subtext. Through a combination of structured exercises, partner work, and performance, students will refine their ability to make bold, authentic choices. Whether preparing for auditions or refining performance skills for the stage, this class offers a supportive environment for actors to challenge themselves and take risks.
Christina Giorgi (Acting) is a recent graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University where she obtained her BFA in acting with a minor in Hispanic studies. When not acting, Christina has a passion for teaching and directing. For the past two summers, she has worked as a teaching artist for young performers at the New London Barn Playhouse. Born and raised in Crystal Lake, Christina is thrilled to be working with young performers and providing them a safe space to expand on their dreams of becoming a performer just like she had at their age.
