Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy and poignant songs.

Hola, Lola comes from the musical, Dear Edwina and is from the creators of Junie B. Jones, another musical featured in Pure Imagination. Dear Edwina follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly “Advice-a-Palooza.” The song focuses on Lola traveling the world and making friends along the way. which in turn, celebrates the idea of global friendship. Fun little tidbit…the show is set in the town of Paw Paw, Michigan (but is also based on Deerfield, IL, where Marcy Heisler, who wrote the book and lyrics, was born).
